Open Social gets another boost
OpenSocial, a non-profit foundation between several social communities has gained another member into its founding group. Today Hi5 announced that it would be joining the foundation, it will be joining Google, Myspace, and Yahoo. OpenSocial’s goal is to create an common API for social networks and developers. By simplifying the process developers will not have to create different applications for each network, and rather can use a common code based on HTML and Javascript to create a application that will work on multiple networks. Facebook, one of the largest social networks, has still not announced if they will join this new foundation.
